Chocolaty Moist and Fudgy Eggless Brownies

Brownies are one of the most convenient desserts I have made! These mini bites which are chocolaty and moist can be eaten anywhere. This recipe shows you how to make this delish dessert for snacking! The best part is that it only uses 10 ingredients!

So, LET'S GET BAKING!

Ingredients:

  • 7 tablespoons butter (salted or unsalted)

  • 1 tablespoon of canola oil

  • 3/4 cup of all purpose flour

  • 2/3 cup of cocoa powder

  • 1 ¼  teaspoons of baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (only needed if you are using unsalted butter)

  • 1 cup of granulated sugar

  • ½  teaspoon of  vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup plain of yogurt

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

  • Ice-cream (optional)

Method:

  1. In a bowl sift together the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Also add in the salt only if using unsalted butter.

  2. In a separate bowl, add butter, which should be melted (you can melt using the microwave) oil, ¼ cup of yogurt and ½ cup of the sugar. Mix well with a whisk.

  3. Add the remaining 1/4 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla extract and mix till well combined.

  4. Add in the cocoa mix to the butter mix. Combine this using a spatula. Make sure you don’t go  overboard with mixing the batter, a few streaks of flour is okay.

  5. If the  batter is really thick in this stage, that is fine. If you are optionally using the chocolate chips, add them in this step.

  6. Line a 8x8 inch pan with aluminium foil and spray generously with a non stick spray. Set aside. Also make sure to preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

  7. Transfer the batter to your baking pan. Spread the batter throughout the pan using a spatula or back of your spoon.

  8. Bake at 350 F degrees for 30-35 minutes.

  9. Once done , let the brownies cool down for 10 mins and then put them in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before cutting the brownies into pieces.

  10. After cutting them into pieces, top the brownies with ice-cream and ENJOY!
